Great...thanks so much for that. We have region 1 and 2 in our house, so it won't be a problem.

Thanks again.

Their web site says theres a book but the DVDs are TBA in Japan.
http://www.whatthebleep.com/international/
The Bleep Store only seems to have region 1 DVDs. The film is considered a little new agey and has some association with the Ramtha group but the content is largely independent of that.

I have never heard of the film, "What the Bleep." I'll be sure to check it out when I can. Although, it may be difficult to come across in Japan.

Those kind of things have interested me since I was a child, so I am always keen to hear the newest developments.

Thanks for keeping me in the loop.

BTW - quantum particles have a very short life span. They pop in and out of existence at every moment. If our chosen attention (intention) is not sustained, the particles drop back into a probability again.

Its quite fascinating as the very act of measuring them changes them. They have even established that this effect is independent of time. Recordings of results made in the past are changed when they become observed in the present. Get what that means - not that the present can change the past but that the future changes the present. (laughs)

They have established that time works in both directions too. A rabbit hole indeed.

When the film "What the Bleep" came out, they had a big conference here with many of the speakers from Bleep (overlaps The Secret) plus a few others. Wolfe had an all day workshop following the conference I attended. Aside from a streak of sexism, it was quite interesting. A bit after the film was out, they had another conference in CA with all of the original speakers so they reinterviewed them all and released 2 new editions of the film. Wolfe extended much of what he said in that film, talking about non-locality. There is the "down the rabbit hole" edition (at 2.5 hrs). They also released a "quantum" edition (6 hrs) that uses a DVD players random number generator to create a custom version of the film each time. Plus all the interviews themselves.

Anyway - This idea they explore in the film a great deal. Essentially, particles exist first as a probability or wave function. When we observe them, we collapse the wave function and it now behaves as a localized object. In effect, our environment is a sea of possibilities that our attention collapses into a single state. We choose with our attention.

This is a big deep place to explore - quantum non-locality (Dean Radin) - everythings connected, stuff Wolfe talks about like particles being in 2 places at once, Rupert Sheldrake on Morphic fields, etc etc...
Nassim's Resonance project and something I'm just watching now 'Thunderbolts of the Gods' present totally new interpretations of the evidence. Actually, Buckminster Fuller did as well in Synergetics.

@ Tom and Jerry (Wow...I doubt I'll get the chance to say that again!)

Only time will tell, I suppose. Humanity might not be around long enough to find out, but one still has hope.

Awareness of the electron effects the behavior of the electron? This is mind blowing because it is not scientific. How could this be? A change in the way electrons (matter) responds to outside forces of energy simply by observation?
The conclusion can only be that the mere act of observing also acts upon the electron with its own energy. Or, perhaps, we have stumbled upon a way in which the illusion, the man behind the curtain if you will, is spied upon and thus changes its behavior to reflect the expectations of what we call reality.

Takuin: You gotta love quantum stuff, eh? It gets all nice an ambiguous, just like life. My hunch is that at the very end, physics will finally just say, "You know, we really can't make any ultimate sense of all this stuff. Life is just life." To which I will add, Amen. But it is still fun to play with. :-)
