One Year Ago

I decided to look into the archives of Takuin.com to see what may have been written exactly one year ago. I am surprised by what I found. It is called, Belief and Death.

Have a look. I think it is interesting.

Hey – I thought you were not supposed to reuse old content. (laughs)
A powerful post nonetheless. Its notable the girl expressed her grief publicly. Some try to disappear. A friend of mines boyfriend committed suicide and it plagued her for years. She found some solace in an explanation of what happens to suicides from a spiritual teacher. hmmm. I have not seen her in many years now though she has a business across town.

Someone told me the person she landed on died also.

A spiritual teacher has an explanation of what happens after a suicide? Meaning, after death? That would be interesting to hear. But I can’t imagine it to be anything we have not heard before.

Oh right, no old content. Well, with one’s mind being the way it is, it is all new. Is that an acceptable excuse? ;)

I’ll miss today’s post, though. Too many unexpected appointments to keep today.

The teacher in question was something of a space cowboy, exploring subtle realms. He’d been a theosophist that got into vedic stuff. Basically he said that a suicide ends up in a kind of holding pattern. They are unable to act to resolve the conflict nor progress. They have to wait until their allotted time, then can continue. I’ve heard similar elsewhere, as well as variations on karmic debt for it. Karma however is unfathomable. Landing on another person, for example, was not intended and what of the karma of the person who was landed on? Bizarre way to go. I avoid even contemplating the possibilities. Better to just work on what is in front of you.

First old content and now a skip? And you’re only 25% of the way along?
Just kidding. When I was posting a lot, it tended to come in waves. Nothing for a few days, then 3 or 4 at once. One thing leads to another….

PS – hope your traffic is climbing…

    Davidya,

I wasn’t really thinking of a traffic spike, although that may end up being a result. I am more interested in how these things may arise when more attention is paid to the writing.

I don’t know if anything will “happen,” but I want to find out how this affects it all. If at all.
