There is a misconception about dialogues; many people see the end results – the transcripts, the footage, or whatever – and think that is the end. In other words, once dialogue is over, the end result must be the right way to see it. But is that correct? You and I could speak on the same subject 5 different times, and each exploration could be entirely different. It is like jazz. The chord progression is the topic, and the solos are the dialogue. The results are unlimited within a limited background.

Yes, the mind seeks to come to a conclusion, a resolution. It doesn’t want to have to hold too much. Instead, the key is holding nothing and observing the process. Music, dialogue, life is a process. Without holding, it becomes unlimited, even within structure.
Easier done than said.
So many people sit and listen, but how many of them merely wish for the answer to be handed over to them? It is an attitude like, “I am going to sit here, and dammit, I am going to GET IT!”
The only thing I ever got was a sore ass! Haha…

Yes, so easy to just be present. So hard when the habit is to do. And to see it all as something “I” do.
