Nothing special to report today. Sleep has remained unaffected, and there is still no real desire for food.
For anyone else doing this, I would recommend you always know where the nearest restrooms are.

is this mere coincidence?
i’m undergoing water fasting too,
with occasional interruption of young coconut juice
I’m actually water fasting too. I’m glad I found the post. The funny thing is that my body is already in ‘fasting mode’ because I do not eat carbohydrates. I’m wondering what the difference will be between true water fasting and eating small high fat high protein meals. I’m about to find out I guess.
Good…let’s share the deprivation together!
You will find out soon enough, haha. There is a big difference, but it may take a few days to really sit into it.
Today is day 3. Only 25 left to go…
I’ve typically had some food cravings on day 2 or 3, then they pass. But I eat Carbs and evidently this is an effect of carb withdrawal. They’re a kind of slow sugar. Were you a coffee and donut eater, it might be a different story…
Davidya,
I don’t want to think about the crash a donut addict would have to go through. It probably rivals the DTs.
But good news on my side. I was trolling the markets this morning and found a drink heavy in B vitamins with no calories or preservatives. I was surprised to find it. B1, B2, B6, along with a few other goodies. It is barely 100ml, and has a sharp, biting taste. I can’t say that it tastes “good,” but having another source of B vitamins can’t hurt. I’ll sneak this drink in every few days or so.
